If you're in the Valley, you MUST stop by and grab a bottle when they're open!"

  • "My boyfriend and I went there late in Friday and ended up getting three bottles. We have been meaning to go back but, never catch open hours. Plan to go this weekend, would recommend this wine to anyone near Wasilla or love a different kind of wine. A perk is the owner is lovely as well!"

Our Beginning

Kaylee and KC’s story begins back in Kodiak Alaska, well over a decade ago. Kaylee grew up on a remote island--on the island--living a subsistence lifestyle hunting, fishing, and gardening. For her parents, this also meant making their own wine from fruits they picked locally. Kaylee continued this practice when she moved to Wasilla to be with her now-husband KC. Fast forward a few years; with continued support from family and friends, they work together to gather local fruits from various locations across Alaska as well as local farms. Their goal is to provide Alaska fresh wine that is ethically sourced, supports other Alaskans, and has minimal preservatives.

Our First Year

Swiftwater Wine

Our story began with a dream to share the incredible flavors of Alaska through small batches of hand-crafted wine. In December 2023, we opened our doors for the very first time, and the response was beyond what we could have imagined--our soft opening sold out in under 48 hours! This past year has been an adventure filled with lessons learned, hundreds of pounds of wild and local fruit harvested, and yes, more wine than we'd like to admit was spilled along the way. But overall, it has been an amazing journey, and we cannot thank our community enough. We are truly grateful and can't wait to see what this next year brings. Cheers!

Our Growth

Swiftwater Wine

As we enter 2026, we cannot be more amazed at how our passion has grown. We cannot thank the community, friends and family that support us enough—and there are silent supporters outside of close family and friends (Eric, Dorothy, Patty, and more) who we couldn’t have made this growth possible without from the very beginning. Thanks to additional helping hands, local farmers and structured hours, this last year we were able to harvest enough to carry inventory through the year! Additionally, we were able to branch out & partner with Chepo’s restaurant as well as find a home in our local Valley Country Liquor stores.
